Elgar Wines at Lovells Vineyard

Lovells Vineyard is a family-run vineyard in Malvern producing award-winning English Wines.  The main site was first planted by the Rolinson’s in 2010 with Phoenix, Orion and Rondo grape varieties which are ideally suited to the UK’s cool climate. From these grapes the first award-winning wines were made, collecting two silver awards at the 2014 English & Welsh Wine of the Year Competition.  Later plantings have included the classic sparkling grape varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The wines come under the banner of Elgar Wines and are named in honour of Worcestershire’s favourite composer, Edward Elgar.  Lovells’ wines include Sonatina a wonderful medium-dry rosé, Promenades a dry white, Elgar medium dry, Elgar Sparkling White and Ysobel our sparkling pink.  The wines can be found in local wine merchants, restaurants, hotels, farm shops and Marks & Spencers.
