Astley Vineyard

Established in 1971, Astley Vineyard is of England’s oldest and smallest commercial vineyards, located in the Severn Valley 10 miles north of Worcester. It produces a range of award winning still, sparkling and semi-sweet wines that have been served at the Tate Modern, 2 Michelin** Sketchin London, recommended by Rick Stein and Janis Robinson, and featured in several national newspapers. Astley grows four main grape varieties, but is specifically known for its 45 year old kerner vines.

Now owned by the Haywood family, this small but beautiful vineyard welcomes visitors in a stylish shop and tasting room [completed July 2018], and offers vineyard tours, wine tasting events and personalised entertaining experiences.

Wines are available to buy through the vineyard’s own cellar door shop, online and at farm shops and retail outlets throughout Worcestershire. Trade enquiries are welcome.

From Autumn 2018 Astley Vineyard will also be running its own winery.
